I have a document in PDF where I could type in my name, etc. Instead of saving to a JPG, then trying
to put the text where it belongs, does anyone know of any free software I could install to be able
    to edit PDF files?

    Thanks

Phantom, Foxit Reader is not "editor" only reader...and I am sure you know that.
silverado, you can use Open Office to do that. Simply import file into Open Office, change it and then save it as a .pdf.

I do edit with it, no problem. I suppose it depends on the editing you want to do... :)

I can type whatever I want in it.

I downloaded it, and it works fine. I just want to make a few changes to PDF files.
This will even eliminate the "high lights" in the pdf file. I type in a few lines,
and it saved, and printed fine.

It is asking if I want to update it, should I, its saying that some files need to be
installed to get the full benefit, or something like that.

    Thanks

    Works great..

Be careful not to let it install any add-ons or toolbars. You don't need to update anything since you just got the program...

Not really a way to edit a .pdf the way you can with other pdf programs but this coverts.

$49 PDF Converter Is Free Until Feb 5th

Used to use Foxit but now changed.
Now I think the best for viewing .pdf is PDF-XChange Viewer.

They like others added a toolbar also.

But the Portable ZIP and the " MSI Network Installer" do not have a toolbar.
If you install the .MSI you need Admin rights.
