does anyone know of a free software program that is used to save CMOS to a floppy disk?
it's a project for my hardware/ software troubleshooting class. i am supposed to use a freeware program and use it to save CMOS and startup settings to a floppy. but i would like it to be easy to use because i tried a program called "cmos save"..i think, and it was hard to figure out and didn't work anyway. so if anyone could help me i would really be son unbelievably thrilled..thanx all,.........oh by the way it is due later today if possible...sorry i didn't say that before, thanx again all.

Most of the bios flash utilities that I have worked with over the last few years have the capability to back up the existing configuration before you flash another bios. The flash utilities and mostly manufacturer dependent.

Don't know of a any utility that could do it on all computers. Of course I haven't really Google searched for one.
