freezing up pc

    hello guys would like some help please

    i bought a new packard bell in december and had a lot of probs
    most sorted but i can not stop the pc freezing up when using the dvd-rw
    i put a disc in run it then when i take out the disc and replace with a second one it freez's up
    it only does it with the dvd-rw but sometimes does it when i put the first disc in as well i think you no what i mean by now lol
    im running windows home
    and nero to burn discs
    any help would be great as pc world dont seam to want to no any more

    Howdy,

    How much memory do you have in that PC??

    Press the Windows Logo key + Pause Break key together and it is at the bottom Ram

    Thats quite low Ram you have there....I would think of getting atleast another 256mb

    Have you Defragged lately
