My other Computer is Pentium 3, 256 Ram, Graphix card i dont know (but its bad). I recently changed the Screen resolution on my other computer, and right away the screen went black with a "Frequency out of Range" in the middle. I looked in the monitor manual, it said to restart computer, press F8, go into safe mode, change resolution, and restart. When i did that, nothing changed. Mayb i didn't save the settings? Somebody plz help.

Yeah, try it again.....save them again, see if it works (usually just clicking 'ok' saves settings...but you might need to confirm the resolution change, otherwise it might change back...depepnds on the setup).

If that doesn''t work, maybe you can use your other monitor, which probably had a higher rate, and then set it lowerr from a normal boot.

Check the frequency as well as the resolution. Oh and you can use VGA Mode rather than Safe mode.

Thnx for the help, but i already found a solution. I had to reboot it using the VGA setting and it went to a resolution thats compatible with the monitor.
