The images show your friend has a Viewsonic monitor, so I'm going to assume she has a desktop/tower and not a laptop/notebook.

If it's a factory brand one and not a self built one, advise us what its brand name and model name and model number and serial number is.

It is a rebuilt system and all brands and labels are gone.

The PC is a rebuild from a local Tech that is no longer in town. There is no identification tags or labels left on it,(kind of shady)
I do have a HiJack this log if it helps.

Your log shows that computer is running Windows 7 Professional SP1 64-bit, but it shows nothing about what hardware it has and how old it is.

We have no way of knowing how up-to-date its operating system is and how well it's been maintained and what apps are installed, so there could be multiple reasons why it's blue screening.

Was the CHKDSK process allowed to complete?
If it was, what happened after it completed?

It's possible the hard drive is failing and needs to be replaced.
It's also possible a clean re-install and fresh start may be needed.

wannabeetech:

The AMD Phenom II X4 940 processor listed in your last log was introduced in January 2009, so that computer is likely several years old.
If it has its original hard drive, it could very well be failing.

crjdriver has jumped in and is one of our respected hardware/diagnostic experts, so listen to what he has to say.
