today i reinstalled front page and want to upload a site to the internet.

first of all, in the location box on publish, for a geocities site what do i type is it http://www.geocities.com/name or http://fp.geocities.com/name

and second i got this message (attached) so i went to the microsoft site and downloaded FP2000 Server Extension's and installed it.

dont no what it is or means and then tried to upload again. i still got the same message (attached) about the server extentions. what am i doin wrong?

    Any Help?

    Cheers Rob

does Geocities have the FP2000 server extensions installed? i'd think they would too, but maybe they don't. look at their FAQ or try e-mailing them for support (though they aren't very good at responding). i'm assuming you have a paid Geocities account (because otherwise you wouldn't be able to use their FTP since it's no longer free *frown*) so you should prolly take your business to someone else if it's not working. i just noticed an ad on this forum for PowWeb > > >
