lately; everytime I am viewing a web site or page it froze up! I can not close the page or move the arrow. Why is this happening and how can I prevent it without turning off the computer?
I think it may be the cable internet service(using the internet without the phone) that may be the problem; but I am not sure.
    Please Help.

Have a look at my thread "Lockup on Windows ME", (should be right near the top of the listing as I added a post today), Our problems appear similar and there have been quite a few very useful suggestions in the replies I received.
