Please post a HijackThis log here so we can see what's running in the background and what "nasties" are present.

Go here and click the "HijackThis Self Installer" link so you can download and install it. Make sure to direct it to install inside the C:\PROGRAM FILES folder. Run a scan with it, then copy-and-paste the entire contents of the log here.

Thanks for posting the log.

I'll throw in my 2 cents worth, but your computer has got some problems that someone more experienced than me is going to need to help you fix because you have a real mess.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Open the C:\DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS\ADMINI~1\LOCAL SETTINGS\TEMP folder, then delete everything from inside the TEMP folder.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Uninstall BearShare, then delete its folder from inside the C:\PROGRAM FILES folder.

Uninstall WhenUSave, then delete the Save folder from inside the C:\PROGRAM FILES folder.

Uninstall StarWare, then delete its folder from inside the C:\PROGRAM FILES folder.

Uninstall MediaPipe P2P Loader, then delete the p2pnetworks folder from inside the C:\PROGRAM FILES folder.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You're bringing all these problems on yourself because of all the "nasties" that you're loading in your computer.

You need to keep your antivirus program up-to-date with the latest definition files, then run a full system scan with it.

You need to download and install

Ad-Aware SE Personal 1.06

Spybot - Search & Destroy 1.4

run their update function and install all updates for them, run a scan with them, select and fix everything that Ad-Aware finds, select and fix everything in red that Spybot finds, then reboot. You can download both programs from the spyware tools section at www.majorgeeks.com.
