Full Restore

    Want to restore to original configuration. Compaq desktop,Win 98se, I have factory restore disk. When trying to run disk, system goes into DOS. (have restored B-4, never went to DOS B-4) Can I restore thru DOS? If so, What command? Other options? Ideas?

    1. Are you putting the #1 CD in the CD-ROM Drive while in Windows and letting CD AUTORUN?

    2. Or are you putting the #1 CD in the CD-ROM Drive and re-booting the computer?

    I think you should be doing #1 with a OEM DISC.
