I had an issue with this process increasing it's memory use over the course of a day or two to over a gigabyte. Upon researching it, I found it's only a simple application to give you a tray icon for the sound card, and replaces the windows default mixer. Since I have the Realtek drivers installed, I already have a much better mixer, so this one is redundant. Since it also causes significant issues by consuming vast quantities of your memory, my advice it to simply remove it from your startup using MSCONFIG.

This will give your XP system a boost in stability. :)

I thought this might help some folks that have the same audio drivers, since they're quite common.
