I opened an MS Word doc on my phone with Google Drive, and made a couple of editing revisions. Today I can't see the changes reflected on GD.......so my questions are: if I do editing of an MS Word doc on the phone (accessed from GD), how are the changes saved? Isn't it automatic? Or.....because it was a Word doc, I have to save it.......I'm guessing that's how I screwed up....because it's a Word doc, not a Google doc.....right? Ugh. One of those things where as I'm typing this, I'm realizing how I screwed up.

You have to save the file first if you are accessing it on a mobile device. Mobile doesn't have an auto save feature. Else you go to the file tab and click on "open". You will find recent documents, so under that you can see your unsaved MS word File.
