game/graphics

    when ive played c&c generals online and i quit back to desktop my comp seems to take ages getting back to normal, ie response wise, is there any reason why?

    card fx5600 256 mb with up to date drivers
    os xp proff
    memory 512 meg

    Because when you quit, all the data and stuff is still stored in the memory...so when you try to do other stuff, it looks for free RAM first, then starts to flush the RAM being used....if you just wait a few seconds after playing, to just let the computer sit, then it should work fine.

    You should also do a spyware/virus scan, in case it's something else.

    Yea..whenever I play C&C Red Alert 2 online my comp freezes and comes back to normal every five seconds lol! the only way i have found to fix it is to restart :D (y) !!
