I sort of have an idea why my games crash, but not entirely sure.
And when I say games crash, I mean EVERY game I've played on my new laptop has crashed at one point or another randomly.
Manufacturer: ASUS - A8JP Notebook
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 (2.00 GHz)
Memory: DDR2 200-Pin Notebook Memory (1 GB)
Hard Drive: 5400 RPM (120GB - 65 & 45 GB Partitions)
Video Card: ATi Mobility Radeon X1700 (256 MB)
Sound Card: SoundMAX Integrated HD Audio
Operating System: Windows XP - Media Center Edition
Anyways, ATi decided to be retarded and release the X1700 Radeon, only to tell users that it is not developing any drivers or updates for it.
So, using the OEM driver from ASUS does not help and modded driver (while improving performance) still give me crashes.
Any ideas? Or is this problem way too broad as I fear it is.
