New computer.Redownloaded 4 games. As said in a different post they did not go to desktop.Went START,GAMES and dragged icons over.Star Defender 3 now all messed up,cannot play.I was trying to be clever-somehow ended up with 2 icons but 1 said it was a shortcut.wanted to get rid of it-big mess from here on,cant recall exact steps cos ive been stressing now for days BUT i tried to put one icon on top of another, also tried sending it to recycle bin.may have empied it?
So it wont play.Black screen comes up."9msn games" appears briefly but then nothing.Tried emailing with Oberon publisher-they said uninstall.i went START,PRoGRAMS,UNINSTALL but icon still there.
Tried redownloading game-then it just says PLAY without needing to put in regi key. Oberon again says uninstall using copy/paste method only.

    What and how??? Thankyou

    hello
not sure EXACTLY what you mean?
have uninstalled using various methods and by going in to all the files etc (guided by other posters) then reinstalled.
the nmsn logo flashes then screen goes blank. NO game plays.

Do i need to download Microsoft Directx 10 or something? Star Defender 4 plays without problems but thats from a different publisher and downloaded from different email without problems
