Well, it's got me baffled! I've uninstalled/reinstalled and when I try to open the game I get a black screen and the above "fatal error" message....It doesn't give me the option to enable software rendering...

    Hiya

I have been to the support at valuesoft, the makers of your game. The only suggestion they can offer is upgrading your drivers, as it requires 3D. But we know this already :p

The other game on which you had problems. There are updates for that one, when we get this sorted.

Now, have you downloaded the drivers that I mentioned earlier?

The software renderer bit that Rhett suggested: Is there no way that this can actually be set up before you play? What I mean is, when you click the Install file, does it give you the option?

    Regards

    Hi eddie,
Yep, I've updated my sis drivers...and no, when I install it just gives me the location where it'll intall, no option to set up rendering or anything else. Then, when I insert disc and double click desktop icon (to play) it immediately gives me the error message!
This is a real stumper to me! thanks for all your help so far.
