XIII, Tony Hawk Underground 2, Tiger Woods 2005.

They all freeze at the very first screen that pops up during loading. I have tried starting them after a clean boot but still encounter the same problem.

have you tried to unistall the games then reinstall the games back one at a time with a reeboot in between them ?

    that might help

yes. i do have a partially installed xp pro that i could not complete. when i tried to restart that install, i accidentally chose a different drive to install sp on and did a complete installation. now at boot up, i am given 2 choices of xp pro to choose frm, 1 as complete and one is half way done. could this cause a conflict of some sort? should i complete the 2nd install and then try to uninstall it?
