Because everyone thought my last post was emulator related, I'll make a new post.

I'm having trouble with a few select video games that will not start. They will simply stop moving past the first introductory screen. But, it's not like they crash- I can still exit out, or even in the case of Eve Online, I can still play around with graphics options and controls. In the end I just need to open task manager and end the task, and when I do there's no pause at all when exiting the program; there's no hassle, or any error messages. The games known to be doing this on my computer are Unreal Tournament3, Eve Online, and Warhammer Online. They were all working last week.

    CoD4 still works, strangely enough.

After toying with this for several hours, I cannot fathom the reason for this happening. Perhaps someone could provide some insight.

Note: UT3, Eve Online, and Warhammer Online are PC-related games and do not require any emulator of any kind.

    A few things to try:
Patch the games to the current versions.
    Update your video drivers.

Do they play an inital video upon game launch?
