I was wondering why I can play some games and not others.
We have a local radio station that has a retro arcade games.such as donkey kong and tetris and pac man.. well I can play alot of them just not the 2 I want to play which would be pac man and tetris..
Can you think of anything that I would need to download so I can play these games...
    Thanks

What happens when you try and play these games?

Unless we can understand what actually happens, help could be difficult.

Because they are older games, you may have to run them in compatability mode. Right-click on the games executable, click on the compatability tab, then tick "Run this game in compatability mode for" and try windows 98 or 95.

Thanks for the reply... When I go to play these games there is a blank screen.. thats all.. some of the games pop up right away.. and they are all old games.. Like I mentioned these games are on the site of our local radio station and the funny thing was that I was able to play them before then all of a sudden now i can only play a few of them...
    Thanks

ask a moderator to move this thread into the games forum, for some extra advice, but it sounds like thegooddale's response is best.

There is no executable tab on this game.... when I right click it gives me all the options but when I go to properties it just says HyperText Transfer Protocol
    GIF Image. pacman.gif.
but what I Don't understand is why I can play all the other games... ?? Just not these two.
    Thanks

Where did you get these games? Website? CD? Magically appeared on your hard drive? I would like to simulate your problem but I require more information...it could also be that you can not play some of the games because no one else can...

What you are downloading is not the game in that case, its just an image (a picture).

Can you give us the website of the games so we know exactly what you're talking about?
