    Hello, new to the forums..

So I have an issue with my Gateway MT6821 laptop. There are two LED lights on the front of the laptop. It is supposed to be pink while plugged in and charging and then turn blue when fully charged, which it used to do until about a month ago. Now it stays blue when it is charging or fully charged!!!! So I contacted Gateway and they sent me a replacement battery and still same issue. The battery charges and holds a charge, but for some reason the light is not working properly. Please help! this is something little, but really annoying to me..thanks in advance..

Do you have warranty? If so use it, laptop repairs aren't easy or cheap.

Yeah it is still under warranty for a few more months. They want me to send it in which should only take a couple weeks. I guess that's the only option unless someone else has had this problem????

You may have a faulty power regulator, in which case that means a new mainboard - very expensive.
