I have a 2.5 yrs old gateway laptop. I hardly use the built in wireless on it. I tried to use it yesterday but it wouldnt be able to detect/search any wireless networks. I noticed the wireless light on the laptop wasnt turned on . and nor was the wireless icon in the task bar. The Key to turn on the wireless on the laptop seems to be F2 since it has a wirelsss icon on it. but the Damn thing wouldnt get turned on even if i held the F2 key for a long time. Can anybody please help with this ???

IS F2 the only key or do I need to use any combination ???

How do I get the wireless light icon to show on the computer so that i can connect to a wirelss network ??

    Will greatly appreciate your help...

You need to hold the Function key and then press F2.
