    Hi there, I have gotten a new Desktop gate way I have never had worked with a gate way computer before, so my question is my aim when my desktop goes in to sleep mode, it turns off my aim and its really annoying . My old computer never did that logged me off like that.

    I have home edition seven my aim 7.5.14 what ever that means is there anyway to turn that off to keep it from doing that cause I am on my computer all the time and its really annoying my friends when I log in and out like that lol and me too.

    Thanks very much.:confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

    First Name:
    That feature is a Windows Power Management feature, see here how to adjust power settings(same thing for a desktop except there's no battery settings): http://windows.microsoft.com/en-CA/windows7/products/features/power-management
    Change or disable the time outs for Sleep.

    A Gateway is just the same as any PC, no different on the actual operation as it's Windows that handles all that.
