I know that this is a very old computer, but I really want to get it working for someone to use and have it work for them. The computer seems to be working right, except that I had tried to upgrade it from 80MB of memory (16MB, 32MB, 32MB) to 192MB (128MB, 32MB, 32MB). The computer only sees 64MB out of the 128MB, and the information about this computer on Gateway's website says that it should be able to see the new memory chip completely. The same thing happens also when the new memory is the only chip in the computer. It does have the latest bios update from Gateway, and I installed Windows 2000 before adding the new chip. It might be a lost cause, but does anyone know what might be the problem?
