    Hi All.

In case you did not know, Gateway have come up with a nifty utility called "Gateway Update".

This handy little utility scans your system, then checks the Gateway site for updated drivers. No chance of accidentally installing the incorrect ones.

The utility is designed for US customers, but I have downloaded it, knowing that the only driver I needed to update was my Video card. I ran the program, and it came up with the link to my required update. It installed the update fine. I mention this, because the Gateway site specifies that Overseas clients may experience errors with this utility.

There is also an Online Chat that I have used to help you find things on their site.

That sounds like a pretty cool idea......

.....but will they flash your bios, take out the trash and do an hourly perimeter check of your house?

    :D
