Ge Force mx 440 tweaks

    Looking for a few recommendations to get this card at its near or peak performance...

    Go into Advanced Video Settings, Nvidia GeForce control panel.

    Make sure AA / FA is turned off. Set settings to Performance, rather than quality.

    If the card is running stable, don't make adjustments in BIOS

    Overclocking the card may get you another 2~5fps, but you need to edit the registry to bring up the slider control for that or use google to locate "coolbits".

    If your looking for a lot more speed... new card required.

    Thanks compilerxp, the settings were opposite of what you said to do so thats great..

    Triple 6, thanks for the link as well but the server for the tweak utility wasn't available.

    That program really allows one to get that max from your video and monitor..Great little program and it made a deffinite difference on my w2k system.
