Hi,
I read another post that said someone put in a geforce 210 into his emachines el1358g-51w. I need to know which specific one as the one i bought today (ASUS 210 silent 1gb ddr3) was to big (it is a low pro) for the clearance i have in this micro tower. Or, if someone can just let me know what the smallest 512mb geforce 210 they make to help out, I would appreciate that. I have no interest in upgrading the case. Just want a slightly better card than onboard gpu that came on this cpu.

The specs show a 220W pw supply is installed in that system. You are really asking for a problem installing a real video card. In short you need a better quality pw supply AND most likely better cooling as well.

You didn't say what type of interface it needs to be (AGP, PCI, PCI-E)
It's a low-end desktop and sells for $298.00 at "Walmart".

It has a PCI Express x16 slot for adding a video card.

As crjdriver already said, it has a wimpy 220 watt power supply.

The psu has already been upgraded to 300w (that's about the biggest that will fit into this) i just need to know which of the geforce 210 models is thinnest, because the spacing is very tight, and the ASUS 210 silent card's cooler is massive on it.

You are going to have to go to the web site of whatever card you want and see if there are measurements listed; some do and some do not.

FWIW you are still asking for a problem trying to get a low end, budget type system to run a video card. It is not just the card; the case needs to be able to dissipate the extra heat as well.

IMO this is a loosing battle. If you want to play games with a system, then build one that can play games. Emachines are made for email, office type apps, etc; NOT gaming.
