I have plugged in the graphics card the right way with the 6 to 8 pin adaptor and the monitor that I plugged it into is not showing anything. And also the fans start for a bit then they just stop.

What's the brand of your GPU? Did you install the driver software for it?

MSI. Don’t you have to see the screen to install the drivers?

What are you complete system specs....brand/make/model of every piece. Or is this a retail branded PC like HP or Dell.

I’m building this of myself. The brand is MSI, and how do I see what make and model it is?

Not to be rude here....but you're building a PC and you don't know what brand/make/model of each hardware piece.....ie mobo (mother board), RAM, CPU, PSU, HDD/SSD, Case. All that info is on the boxes of each.

Has the build ever started up? If so, does it POST? What cable are you using to connect the monitor to GPU? Are you sure you're connecting monitor to GPU and not mobo?
