    My ewido anti spyware has already expired. I uninstalled it in the Add/Remove Programs in the control panel. I scanned it in my drive C and I deleted the remaining files of "ewido" but when I check my registry remnants of the said file can't be deleted. Here are the remaining files in the registry that I couldn't eliminate;

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\Root\LEGACY_EWIDO_ANTI-SPYWARE_4.0_DRIVER\0000 (DeviceDesc=ewido anti-spyware 4.0 driver)

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\Root\LEGACY_EWIDO_ANTI-SPYWARE_4.0_DRIVER\0000 (Service=ewido anti-spyware 4.0 driver)

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet002\Enum\Root\LEGACY_EWIDO_ANTI-SPYWARE_4.0_DRIVER\0000 (DeviceDesc=ewido anti-spyware 4.0 driver)

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet002\Enum\Root\LEGACY_EWIDO_ANTI-SPYWARE_4.0_DRIVER\0000 (Service=ewido anti-spyware 4.0 driver)

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Enum\Root\LEGACY_EWIDO_ANTI-SPYWARE_4.0_DRIVER\0000 (DeviceDesc=ewido anti-spyware 4.0 driver)

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Enum\Root\LEGACY_EWIDO_ANTI-SPYWARE_4.0_DRIVER\0000 (Service=ewido anti-spyware 4.0 driver)

Anyone can give me some technical assistance about this matter.

    Thanks

No, I didn't because I don't have license or authority to ask them. Thanks for your concern!

I think ewido would still help you even though you no longer have a subscription - it's just good customer relations. Why don't you try it? Many software makers have uninstall tools which they provide for circumstances such as yours.

Well how about the regular updating of signatures data file? I can't avail it.

I am not sure why you would need updating of signatures if you have uninstalled it (at least partially). Why not just try getting help via email, or through their site?:

My point is I'm curious how to get rid of it and not only ewido but some existing in my registry that's very difficult to delete. I hope you understand my desire.

Have your tried EasyCleaner which I linked above?

I want to be sure to advise you if you do use it - make a restore point first - and use the backup feature, just in case you delete a registry entry you really didn't want to delete. I would not advise using the Duplicate Files portion of the program unless you are really sure what you are doing.

I already tried while ago but didn't work, don't worry I'm using True Image back up in case I lost some files in my registry.

Why do you want to uninstall Ewido? It's a good program to keep. After the 30 day trial expires it becomes freeware with fewer functions but still a very good on-demand scanner.

VERY good point, Cookiegal - I fully agree!. I've had ewido for a couple years now and it's here to stay with me.

My aim is to put it back it good shape, meaning I can avail again the full functions of the program.

You're nicer than I would have been Cookiegal. I would have made it permanent. Let's hope that he learns the lesson ;)
