Just a friendly reminder you can get your credit report free once a year from all three of the credit agencies by going to

    www.annualcreditreport.com

I always find it interesting to see who is checking up on me and to be sure there is no activity going on that I'm not aware of, or that one of my creditors hasn't mistaken me for someone else.

The Equifax report is quite extensive (mine was 27 pages) so be sure you have plenty of ink in your printer should you decide to print all of them.

Do they give you your credit score? Or this something you have to pay for?

You have to pay for credit score. Prices hovered in the $6-7 area. Reports themselves are free.

We already know you socialist Canadians are not trustworthy. Besides, you have to give all your money to the government to pay for healthcare (so I hear from wingers south of your border).:D

True enough! All our industries, properties and commercial establishments are state owned. Besides, who needs credit in a country where the maxim is "What's mine is yours. What's your's is mine." as oppposed to the States where it is said "What's your's is mine and what's mine is mine."

But seriously: We are covered by Equifax here. I just refuse to pay them for what I already know.
