cmmgr32.exe is missing, though is being refered to in registry. with the path of WINDOWS/system32 folder.

But there, I only have cmmgr32 help file and not the .exe.

I do have the XP Pro disk but am not sure about how to extract the file from it. How can I do this?
    (note: I don't use a dial up)

This looks like a dial up manager - probably reason for my errors in event logs (Event ID: 7001) .

Could this be reason pc is shutting down (possible conflict?)

According to a registry fix I have a number of shared dll's that are either 'missing or invalid' - but isn't this normal?
