Getting product version if another application vb.net

    Guys

    I'm after a way of displaying the product version of another application, I've wrote a program that uses a seperate updater, thing is that I want the updater to show current version of my updated program.

    At the moment I'm writing to a .dat file then reading it but I would prefer it to be more contained.

    The product version might be stored in one your registry keys. If this is the case you should be able to programatically read it assuming you have the full key path.
