GIF to Jpeg

Is it possible to change a GIF file to a JPEG file, if so how's it done?? I'm trying to put a picture beside my name on here, the picture i have is a Gif file....... Thanks in advance... Mark

 

It's very possible. All you need is some type of graphics program. Graphic Workshop is one of my favorites, and it's shareware. There are lots of these programs available, and I'm sure some of the others here can recommend others.

savvylady i read in your reply that your avater is a gif. may i ask
you for the intructions in a way i could follow in easy steps, on how to do. it i have a gif file i would like to use, i have got the program irfin view but i can,t seem to work it out how to change
its size and pixels. the gif i have is larger than the 50x50 required
and to be honest, i really dont no how to change the size of it so you could use it as a avater can you help.col
