    Hi people :
I was looking at the Gigabyte z370 Motherboard for possible upgrade. It is an Intel LGA 1151. The motherboard is in the 300-series. I'm having a problem finding the proper RAM chips for this motherboard. Most of the RAM chips are for the Z170 Motherboards. Is this an older Motherboard ??? Thanks.....garystan

There are 20 different Gigabyte Z370 motherboards and they are relatively new :- https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/Intel-Z370

They all use DDR4 ram, look at any of them on that website and you can download a PDF of memory that is tested to work with the motherboard under Support > Support list > Memory Support List.
Other types of ram may work too but hasn't actually been tested to do so.
DDR4 ram is quite expensive right now though.
