Tech Support Guy System Info Utility version 1.0.0.4
OS Version: Microsoft Windows 10 Home, 64 bit
Processor: AMD A8-4500M APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics, AMD64 Family 21 Model 16 Stepping 1
Processor Count: 4
RAM: 5602 Mb
Graphics Card: AMD Radeon HD 7640G, 512 Mb
Hard Drives: C: 569 GB (507 GB Free); D: 25 GB (3 GB Free);
Motherboard: Hewlett-Packard, 184B
Antivirus: Windows Defender, Disabled

I am currently using Gimp version 2.10.8 which has been out for about 4 months now. I would expect a newer version will be available pretty soon.
My question is this: Do I just go to www.gimp.org and download the newest version when it's available and it will remove the older version and install the newest version OR do I need to manually uninstall the older version first and then download the newest version?

Hope everyone here at TechGuy is having a great holiday season(y)

Gimp is a graphics editor. This class of programs usually does not hook into Windows very much because they don't need to. As such, I would simply delete the folder and install the new one.
