Is there anyway I can give folders passwords to prevent other people from looking at them, so far the only thing i can think of is to hide them.

    Thanx in advance

    Hmmm

Someone else will have to tell you what those files are but if you are running windows 98 you can got to a DOS prompt. Type SCANREG /RESTORE
This should give you a listing of current registry restores. Pick one with a date just before you loaded the new program. This should set the registry back to a working state.

I see Tony replied while I was typing. Try my advice IF his doesn't work for you. BOL

I reinstalled dial up networking and that got rid of the VREDIR.VXD error msg, but the others kept there, i tryed reaccesing the net and it connected but a error report came up and then i clicked dont send and it wouldn't let me access any website at all!

So i did what lurker said and restored the registry to yesterday and everything seems to be working fine again.

    P.S.
    Thanx for your help everybody!
