I am trying to down load a music file (it isn't copyrighted). It plays beautifully on the web but when I try down loading it shows up as a WinZip file. Seems to unzip OK but when I try playing it on the latest Windows Media player the sound is horribly distorted. I noted the properties of the file are listed as *.MID.giz. I suppose the added giz is a problem. Just what is it and how does one convert it to a standard MIDI extension?

    Hiya

Could you give us the link to the file, so we can have a look at it?

    Regards
