Google's voice plugin worked perfectly until last week. Suddenly it no longer works. I have Windows 7 Home Premium and use Internet Explorer 9

The Google call box now says: Please download the voice plugin to make a call.

When I click the link, it brings me to a page that says: Try it now.

I click on that link, and it brings me back to my Gmail account, where I see the same dialog box telling me I need to download the voice plugin to make a call.

I have uninstalled the plugin, then reinstalled it, rebooted the computer several times, and after 5 hours,

I Have been unable to solve this problem and unable to follow one posting by eklisiewicz.

Please help.

I am also unable to use Google Voice on IE9 (32 or 64 bit)
There is a temporary fix, Just Use Firefox. Works Perfectly on there.
www.mozilla.com

If you find any information on why it is not working on IE please keep me informed.

i have been having this same problem, i have an acer aspire home premium as well and use internet x 8...gmail call phone was working fine until a couple of weeks ago..have tried many different things to resolve it.
When i uninstall and reinstall it works for a couple phone calls and then it stops ringing and its says that number was not available for a call. I have never used firefox before, do you think this will sove my problem too?
