Hello.
Here is my problem.
My desktop has a good connection, but I cannot access the internet with any browser nor can I access with any other program, update my antivirus, etc. I do not have a router, I am connected directly. I can ping IP's and names(i.e, gulftel.com) with no packets lost. Contacted my ISP and they assured me I have a valid IP, DNS, etc. I stayed on the phone with them for about 2 hours, to no resolve. I have tried everything I can think of. I connect my laptop to the modem and manually enter IP, Gateway, DNS, etc. manually to reflect the settings I get on my desktop. Guess What? I'm On it now! My XBOX 360. Guess What? Connects perfect. What Gives With The Desktop? It was working just fine, I left home for a few hours, come back in and it doesn't work! I have ran every type of scan you could think of and everything says "all systems go"! Help, Please!
