Why in the new version of Google Drive do I have two versions of the same document? The only difference is that one is a RTF, and the other is a converted Google Drive version of the same document?
The difference is only indicated by the icon on the left side. What's the difference between converting vs. not converting a document in this new version of Google Drive? In previous versions, you always had the option via a check-box to choose whether or not you wanted to save in the document's original format, which in that case, you could not share, or collaborate with others. If you converted the file to Google Docs, you could share or Edit the file,
Any help would be appreciated. I have included a Jpg file to illustrate.
