I downloaded & installed googleearth but trying to open it gives the attached note.
Can you help on where do I go wrong?
I googled api-ms-win-ct-runtime-11-1-0.dll hoping to download it & copy it in Windows, but is not known.
PS G.Earth downloads in my desktop but will not open or run as admin or not.

You appear to have a 12-year old Compaq Presario CQ61 series laptop which originally came with Windows Vista Home Basic 32-bit.
It appears that Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit was installed or updated in that laptop 2 days ago.
Are both assumptions correct?
As it says on the page I linked you too above, you need to install 'Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015'. That will correctly install the missing .dll file.
See that page for a presumably still working download link.
You're running Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit in a factory brand laptop which has very old hardware.
You're also running Windows 10 Pro 64-bit in a self built computer which has very old hardware.
In both cases, this may be contributing to the issue that you're having with Google Earth.
if you downgraded but not a clean install of windows 8 then I would say uninstall and go back to download for Windows 8 if applicable.
