    ....names direct page?

Can anyone else go to http://www.google.com I have tried ever since I changed my internet options by unchecking the box that says Automatically Detect Settings, and I cannot open Google. I always use it and now it says either Page Cannot be Displayed or I get some names direct page? Any ideas???

Why don't you recheck the "box that says Automatically Detect Settings" since that's when you started having problems....

I'm going to move this to "Security" as it does sound like a Search page Hijack.

Please post a copy of a HijackThis scanlog for further help:

Did you check the link dvk01 above suggested? It sounds like that could be the problem.
