Hi guys, I seem to have a slight problem with my computer. Namely, when searching google in Firefox (IE seems to be unaffected) and clicking links it randomly redirects me to ad sites instead of the site I wish to visit. I googled it and figured it has something to do with Javascript, I did a scan with Antivir and Spybot and removed everything that they found (Antivir did find some suspicious files related to Java). The problem doesn't seem to have gone away though. What I've currently done is to block google javascripts with NoScript, it seems to work since only clicking links through google redirects me - but that doesn't make me feel any safer. There's still something loose in my PC and I'd appreciate any assistance in getting it cleaned. :) Here's the HJT log.

Okay a quick update. I used the Microsoft hosts-file fix thingy, and then I scanned my PC with Malwarebytes' which found a couple of .dll files named kcdcrm or something like that and a registery entry - I fixed them and rebooted my PC and the problem seems to have gone away. I'm not entirely sure though so I will keep testing to see if it truly is gone, since the problem seemed to have been gone earlier today too but then returned. I'd appreciate if you guys wouldn't lock this yet since as I said I'm not sure if the problem is truly gone or not. (y)

All right, the problem seems to be gone. I'm pretty sure that it was Malwarebytes that got rid of it. As it stands, I will mark this thread solved. I've been seeing a lot of google redirect threads lately so if some of you guys are reading this I suggest that you download and run Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware. Cheers. ;)
