I have no clue what you wrote there, but for issue in the title, it can be a few things: a bad cable between the computer and monitor, the input on the monitor is not set to Auto or which ever connection you have, or the computer is not outputting the video (bad video card).

I do not know what computer you have as that model number does not appear to be correct.

Interesting "b6840:" is a Jet Blue flight Syracuse to Boston not an HP computer.
I think "wgerectge" = where the. Typed g for h didn't space and pressed c instead of the space bar. The person could be typing on a phone. "drice" = drive.

Of course I have no idea what the location of the drive has to do with a VGA connected monitor.

Where the actual disk drive is perhaps?

As for any HP products, a 6840 is a DeskJet printer. Please can you confirm the model number.
