Goto Stand-By Apone reboot

    New mother board Asustek A7N8X........................................
    When rebooting it go's to stand-by mode, instead of rebooting.
    Checked Power managment BIOS-all disabled.... and software configuration is set for always on,
    disabled all other. Checked Jumpers also.


    ASUS A7N8X Rev 1.0 nForce Chip Set
    BIOS: 11-27-2002
    VIDEO: ABIT Geforce4 Ti4200-128MB DDR
    RAM: 128 DDR
    SOUND: Nvidia nForce-OnBoard
    OS: Win. Me

    What do you mean by stand-by mode? Safe Mode? Did you install your OS from scratch or just plop the hard drive from your old system into the new system?

    Sleep/Stand-by how ever you wish to call it...No not safe mode..it powers down, but not off.
    Totally erased (not reformat) Harddrive install MS-ME.
