Gparted live CD error

    I keep getting this error after keymap on setup. Not only that but sometimes It just freezes up completely and the same goes for Killdisk free version. I don't think it'll run anything live at this point but i do have other CDs I could try.

    Invalid looptype
    Invalid location: /gparted.dat
    Please export LOOP with valid location, or reboot and pass a proper loop=

    kernal command line!

    Can't access tty: job control turned off

    And that's my loop. This in every user mode possible.

    It's set to boot from live CD because the MBR is broken on the HDD so it'll get stuck in windows repair/setup mode with no option to get back to boot setup so I have to hard reset every time.
