Running XP here, Run all the usual scan stuff regularly; no problemos.....
Anyone else unable to get the start/run command gpedit.msc to work [to get into the control panel edit area].
What does it mean if access denied via this route?
[error message simply-"cannot find this file" and a search on System didn't find it either!]
Does it have something to do with having a retail version of XP or not?[OEM here]
    Everything otherwise running fine.
    Thanks in advance

Are you running Windows XP Home or Professional? Home Edition does not have the group policy editor.
