hi. I have an nvidia Graphics card geForce6200-256 Mb AGP. Well just recently when my pc boots up, the GPU fan makes noise and after a few minutes the noise ceases[ fan is still running]. Can this pose a problem for me[not necessarily now maybe in the future]???

Can I be reliable on it??? wont this situation decrease the lifetime of my card or its performance??

yea. the card has an integrated cooling fan. my question was wether if the fan makes noise at start can affect its lifetime or performance.. well according to temparature levels its normal[around 39-45 degrees celcius]...

If the fan bearing fails and the fan locks up the card will overheat and fail
