So I kind of have a long story. I got my pc on the 3rd of January, 2017. For 6 months I was playing like an idiot and had my hdmi cable running from my monitor to my intel graphics/motherboard, as opposed to my NVidia graphics card. So, about a month ago, I felt like my pc was not getting the fps it should have. So, I noticed that my hdmi cable was not plugged into my graphics card, and I fixed that problem very quickly. Now I was getting 300-400 fps in game (CSGO) on high settings. But, about two weeks after doing that, I noticed the fps had dropped from 300 to about 120 in competitive and deathmatch servers. Sort of like it was before when my hdmi cable was not in the right slot. Now I am at a complete loss and have no idea where to go from here. I used compressed air to clean dust out of my pc, and I checked to see that all of my graphics drivers were up to date. Any ideas?

If you want any help here from the hardware/gaming experts, you need to submit a detailed description of your computer's hardware.

According to your Speccy log, your computer appears to have these specs:

ASUS VS228 series 21.5" wide-screen monitor

ASUS H170-PRO motherboard
It has 4 DIMM slots and supports up to 64 GB of DDR4-2133 RAM

Intel Core i7-6700 3.40 GHz quad core processor
It has an Intel HD Graphics 530 integrated graphic device

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3 GB graphic card

16 GB(8 GB X 2) of DDR4-2133 RAM

----------------------------------------------------------------

What's the brand name and complete model number and wattage of the power supply unit in your computer?

I haven't seen the Windows 10 startup list and services list, but according to your Speccy log, your computer appears to have a lot of running processes.

Hmm have you installed any programs in the past 2 weeks, or just changed anything in terms of your gameplay?

No, I have run every possible scenario of what I may have done in my head, but I'm at a loss. I'm going to attempt to close background tasks though.

Also, I believe that the background processes is what may be causing the problem. How will I know which processes that I can end in task manager?

You didn't provide the model number of the 500W power supply unit in your iBuyPower BB930 desktop, but it appears to be a low-quality Apex brand.
How will I know which processes that I can end in task manager?
Click Start, then type MSCONFIG in the search or run box, then press the Enter key.
When the small "System Configuration" window appears, click the "Startup" tab, then click "Open Task Manager".
Write down only the names in the "Name" column that are set on Enabled.
If the "Startup Item" column isn't wide enough to see the entire name of any of them, widen the column.
Submit those names here in a vertical list.
Make sure to spell them EXACTLY as you see them there.

Click Start, then type SERVICES.MSC in the search or run box, then press the Enter key.
When the "Services" window appears, expand it so you can see the list more clearly.
Write down only the names in the "Name" column that have their startup type set on Automatic and Automatic(Delayed Start) and Automatic(Trigger Start).
If the "Name" column isn't wide enough to see the entire name of any of them, widen the column.
Submit those names here in a vertical list and in alphabetical order.
Make sure to spell them correctly.

MSCONFIG Startup Items:
Steam Client Bootstrapper
SpotifyWebHelper
Spotify
Skype
Realtek HD Audio Manager
NVIDIA Capture Server Proxy
Microsoft OneDrive
ItunesHelper
Discord
Java Update Scheduler
Razer Synapse
---------------------------------------
For the services.msc area, should it say "Automatic(Delayed Start, Trigger Start)" or do I include "Automatic(Delayed Start)" and "Automatic(Trigger Start)? Because if it is only "Automatic(Delayed Start, Trigger Start)", then there is only two names.

There should be a lot more than 2 services that have their "Startup Type" set on one of the Automatic settings.

---------------------------------------------------------------

Based on what's listed in your startup list, your computer appears to be infected.

Download and save Malwarebytes AdwCleaner to your desktop.
If you get a warning that this file is unsafe, ignore the warning.
Close all open windows first, then double-click the AdwCleaner.exe desktop icon to load its main window.
Click the "Scan" button to start the scanning process.
1 or 2 minutes or longer may pass before the scanning process completes, so be patient.
If any threats are found, the number found will appear in red.
Click the "Logfiles" button, then select the "Scan" tab.
When the list of logs appear, double-click the appropriate log to open it, then save it.
Return here to your thread, then copy-and-paste the ENTIRE log here.

Double-click these service entries, one at a time, to open its properties window, then change "Startup Type" to Manual, then click Apply.
Connected User Experiences And Telemetry
Distributed Link Tracking Client
Downloaded Maps Manager
Google Update Service
Microsoft Office Click-To-Run Service
NVIDIA Telemetry Container
Program Compatibility Assistant Service
Skype Updater

After you're all done, close the Services window.

Remove the checkmark from these startup entries.
Steam Client Bootstrapper
Java Update Scheduler

After you're all done, click Apply - OK/Close - Restart.

After your computer settles down from the restart, run it for awhile and make sure everything is still working okay.
Advise if speed and performance has improved any.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Malwarebytes AdwCleaner is not an antivirus app.
It and other apps like it are designed to find and remove malware, spyware, etc..
Norton 360 and other antivirus apps aren't designed to do that.
It's your choice whether to use it or not.
