    Been looking for a good gaming card for 140-160$, these seem to be the 2 contendors, what do you guys think ?

    I heard the the LE isnt the best gaming card so i voted for the 6600. Which isnt all that powerful eather but i would rather get that over that LE for sure tho. Dont know how set you are on your buget but you may by happyer with somthing other then the 2 your comparing.

    Well there really isnt much more in that price range, the 9800 Pro is around that but doesnt even compare to the 6600GT, so i guess 6600GT is the winner, now its just deciding which brand to go with.

    what do you think about the raedon x700 and x800 as compared to the 6600gt?

    not sure man, seems like everyone always says to go with the 6600GT, ive never even heard of the x700 or x800

    im wondering if the memory clock makes a difference, some cards are 900mhz memory clock, others are 1000mhz, and they are the same price...?

    Yeah, memory clock makes a difference. Just like your CPU processor speed. Bigger number = faster processing.

    faster also = more $$$$

    I know the BFG's are oced so they cost more

    go to Toms Hardware and look up the benchmarks, the X700 is not as good

    Therefore "faster also = more $$$$" not necessarily.

    BFG Tech overclocks the core speed of nVidia chips all the time and usually sells them on-par or slightly cheaper than other Mfgs cards, and provides a lifetime warranty.
