Hi There , Please could you recommend a better GPU for this PC for playing games such as BFBC2 , or is it a waste of time to upgrade the GPU in this PC.

    Acer M3800 Desktop

    Intel core 2quad q8300 @2.5 ghz

3 gig DDR3 RAM ( although there are 4 slots on mother board )

    Nvidia geforce 315

    PSU 350w

    Many Thanks

If you plan to upgrade the graphics card for playing games, you'll also need to upgrade the power supply.
It'll need to handle the requirements of the graphics card and the load that gaming puts on a computer.

You didn't say if that Acer Aspire M3800 desktop is running a 32-bit or 64-bit version of Windows.
If it's running a 64-bit version, you should max it out with 8 GB of RAM.

Your computer specs in post #1 shows a 350 watt power supply.

The Delta model you listed in post #4 is a 250 watt "el-cheapo" model and is NOT designed for the demands of gaming.

crjdriver and Triple6 and Tanis and some of the other hardware/gaming experts here can advise you on what brand/model power supply to get.
