Graphics driver update?

    Hey i have a Compaq Presario PC

    the specs i know are, Intel 82945G Express Chipset Family
    when i go to the settings under the General tab is says the device is not functioning properly.
    My driver version is 7.14.10.1322

    my question is how do I update it?

    what model is the laptop

    check the hp site for the latest driver and d/load and install

    its not a laptop.

    Compaq Presario PC SR5030NX

    and i've downloaded recent drivers but when i do i get a message saying that it cant update properly.

    Ok, so you must use the HP provided driver. What's the exact error you get when trying to install the HP provided driver?

    Have you gone to Add & Remove Program or Programs & Features in the Control Panel and uninstalled the previous Intel graphics driver?
